Our story

Assistive technology solutions NATTC was born out of a very real – very personal – lived experience. Our founder, Graham, started his journey in 2010, after 21 years in the IT industry. An undiagnosed condition and a clash with a director who didn’t understand provided the spark that would one day become this company specializing in Assistive technology solutions.

This event marked a significant turning point in his life. It opened his eyes to what neurodivergent people – and the wider disabled community – face in the workplace, and how they often don’t have the guidance or management support they need. This led to him starting a business where he could be free to help others and regain control of his working life and mental health.

Wanting to honour his roots and strengths in technology, while also helping others to navigate their long-term conditions, NATTC came to be. Our original mission was simple and still rings true to this day: to ensure everyone feels supported, understood, and included in their workplace.

We want to give employers the practical solutions they need to allow their employees to thrive at work. And to make sure that the employees themselves feel confident and empowered to carve out the future and career they want.

We’re more than just an assistive technology partner or workplace coaches. Our team has a personal stake in changing the world of work for the better. All of our coaches have lived experience with either neurodiversity or other disabilities, and we’re passionate about building a brighter future for the current workforce and generations who will come after us.

It’s predicted that 15-20% of the global population has some form of neurodiversity. And around 9.8 million people have a physical disability in the UK. They are an undeniable part of our workforce. Graham is extremely knowledgeable, he is a very patient skilled trainer, who takes the time to explain things and make the training process enjoyable. Graham provided me with numerous guides such as a Dragon mouse and command document and an assisted technology guide for the workplace which was devised by Graham himself, they have helped enormously getting to grips and making my life easier.

| always felt that the sessions were very much tailored to my needs and Graham made reference to them often whilst explaining how to use the technology. | enjoyed the parts of training the most where it felt like it all clicked and | understood clearly.

The sessions were definitely tailored to my needs, and we were able to go over some areas that | found difficult more than once and didn't spend too much time on other areas that were less needed for my particular requirements. We were still able to cover everything in the sessions provided. | liked that the training was relevant to what and how | was going to study, not just how any old student would be using the apps. | think the grammar and mind mapping apps will be the most useful for me going forward.

The training has made me feel so much more confident about studying a degree. | also appreciated that we used documents that | had from my course in the training and also that | was able to ask questions so that some things could be repeated. It made me really excited to start studying. | think above all this technology is going to help me save a lot of time, and also give me confidence. | won't have to worry about how to do something like referencing and get hung up on how to do it, | now have the tools to do it and that means | can use my energy focusing on my actual study.
